Transforming Learning Experiences

Our teams experience ranges from the corporate world and companies to non-profit organizations. We have performed learning initiatives for many industries and fields. We have performed all L&D roles, trainer, instructional designer, eLearning developer, LMS admin and implementation.

We've been fortunate enough to provide transforming learning initiatives to reduce design, delivery, and seat time while increasing stickiness.

For example, reducing a three week new resident course to two weeks. We were able to cut a two day new employee orientation to half-a-day. We have designed and delivered an introductory project management course that taught the basics of project management and MS Project in TWO HOURS! Yes, two hours.

A principle of accelerated learning is "never do for the learner what they can do for themselves." What does this mean? In workshop facilitation, let the learners help set up the materials, change the room around, etc.

In the structure of the course, never give them the answers or lead them to it, rather let them discover it for themselves. Give them credit for what they do know and never assume they can't figure it out on their own with some guided help. Put them in realistic situations to make decisions and practice behavior and skills.

Accelerated learning is self-directed learning on steroids. It obeys natural laws of learning and puts the ownership of learning in the learner's hands. Using autonomy, mastery, and play, you ignite the brain for a longer memory of the learning experience.

If your training isn't effective, it's time to switch it up and take it back to the basics of learning in more natural ways. Give us a call to set up a assessment or coaching session.
